John’s ministry passion is communicating the story of God in relevant, challenging ways. He holds a B.A. in Communication and Ministry from Harding University and an M.A. in Christian Ministry from Harding University Graduate School of Religion. He enjoys reading, writing, tennis, and travel. He married Jessica in 2004, and is thoroughly convinced that she is his better half. Jessica works as a graphic designer. They have been part of Southern Hills since July 2004.

Matt’s desire is for teenagers to realize the depth and potential of their faith. Working with teenagers and their families is one of the most rewarding things in his life. Matt has been described as someone who loves to laugh and enjoy life. He is rarely thought of as shy, but, unknown to most, he loves to cook. He is currently working on a masters degree in Christian ministry, and he has a B.A. in Interactive Media and Ministry from Harding University. His wonderful wife Marisa is a teacher; they were married in August of 2005 and have been part of Southern Hills since July 2006.
